OUR STORY SINCE 1968

Zlatni Bokal

FROM WINE CELLAR TO RESTAURANT

On the site of today's Zlatni Bokal restaurant, in the 19th century there was a wine cellar visited by artists, writers, bohemians and other notable figures of the time. Wine was brought up from the cellars, served with meze, and conversations, music and gatherings often lasted until dawn.

In 1968, the Zlatni Bokal restaurant as we know it today first opened its doors. Over the decades it has become one of Skadarlija's landmark spots, where the past and present-day Belgrade meet at the same table.

Excellent food and service, friendly staff, local music and good wine. The Serbian platter is very generous, and the pistachio baklava is perfect.
