Restaurant \u201cZlatni Bokal\u201d,<\/strong> located in the center of bohemian culture of Belgrade, represents a combination of modernity and the 19th century in one place.
In our luxurious ambience, you can try authentic traditional food, prepared with love and care. Apart from the first-class cuisine, you can enjoy a selection of wines, while our tamboura players will be in charge of the excellent atmosphere, taking you back in time.<\/span><\/p>\n

A wine cellar, visited by many great people, used to be located on the site of “Zlatni bokal” restaurant in the 19th century. With red wine and musicians, they welcomed the dawn, they rejoiced and mourned, memories were created. The custom of creating memories from the former wine cellar was brought to “Zlatni Bokal”, which was opened in 1968 . Over the years, our restaurant has become a place where friendships and love are made. Many have crowned their love in Skadarska 26. Only our waiters know the number of rounds ordered due to unrequited love, while the number of \u201cold urban songs\u201d cannot be counted, because since 1968, until today, the number of such moments is immeasurable.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Momo Kapor, the famous Serbian writer, painter and journalist, and a favorite guest of our restaurant, wrote: “Everything starts in the tavern, the tavern is our history, the feeling of community, closeness, the amount of time we devote to others, to ourselves, to conversation, to thinking.”<\/span><\/p>\n

In the 19th century \u201cZlatni Bokal\u201d guests enjoyed bottles of wine that were carefully taken from this famous wine cellar called \u201clagum\u201d with a strainer. The great writer Nu\u0161i\u0107 described colorful scenes, where wine was poured into countless glasses, along with appetizers, while guests gathered to rate, rejoice, grieve, discuss and make deals. <\/span>

<\/span>In<\/span> 1968<\/b> In 1968, Zlatni Bokal as we know it today was created. It welcomes visitors from all over the world with love, in a pleasant, intimate setting, next to the Skadarlija cobblestones, often depicted in songs. Zlatni Bokal is a hedonistic place where the past and the present intertwine, desiring to show the most precious things from the treasury of our gastronomy and music.<\/span>
